MICRONUTRIENTS AS AN INDISPENSABLE NUTRITION FACTOR Micronutrients have always been an important factor in the efficiency and sustainability of agriculture. This was originally recognized by Justus Von Leibing when formulating the concept of the “Law of Minimus” in the mid -1840s. The most common mode of micronutrients application is the use of NPK blends in bulk with micronutrients added in a granular form and quantities ranging from 50 kg/ton to 100 kg/ton. The drawbacks to this type of application have been clearly demonstrated in an article written by John. J. Mortvedt in mid- 1977, “The World of Micronutrients” being the main problem the small number of micronutrient granules per area, combined with the limited mobility of micronutrient ions in the soil.
UNEVEN DISTRIBUTION: UNIFORM DISTRIBUTION:
MEGAMICRO® is a biodegradable chemical solution capable of keeping micronutrients in suspension. When sprayed, this suspension fixes the micronutrient on the surface of NPK granules, improving the uniformity on distribution and the agronomic efficiency in the planting.
ADVANTAGES OF USE
ü Versatility of Formulas à Formulas according to customer needs. ü No Segregation à Formulas with high agronomic efficiency. ü Greater Availabilityà On the surface, micronutrients are more available to the plant. ü Better Crop Nutritionà Highly available and well distributed micronutrients. ü High Productivity à Complete nutrition with excellent availability. ü Labor Saving à Application of NPK + micronutrients in a single application. |
